It's beginning to look a lot like....

....Christmas!!!

During the Thanksgiving break, we packed up the kiddos and set out to find the perfect Christmas tree!

Mason wanted to find one that was "thiiisssss big!"

We've come along way since last year when we had our itty bitty sissy on board!

Picking out the tree is almost as fun as decorating it for us!

We critiqued every tree during our hunt.

Then we found the PERFECT tree for the Meek Household! Christian is 6'3'', and it was taller than he was!

The boys were proud as they had it wheeled out to the truck!

Mason kept saying "I found it! I found it!"

Next on the agenda was to find a mini tree for the kid's playroom.

CHECK!!... Found one!

Sis and I gave our final approval of the chosen trees.

They were loaded on top of the Yukon, and we were off!

We only had to stop once to make sure all was well up there.

Once we got home, the boys got the stump cut, screwed in and watered.

Then it was Mommy's turn to take over.

Mase and I were having "teamwork", as he kept telling us.

Little Miss just bounced around in her rocking horse and watched the tree transformation.

Mason was so cute when he saw the ornament with his picture from his first Christmas...
He said " Look, it's a baby me!"

It's always fun going through our ornaments and thinking of the special memories that they bring. You can see Christian in the background with a sweet grin on his face, remembering something from an ornament.

Mason loves to remind us that he is such a good helper.  And yes, he definitely is!

We put lots of fun ornaments on the tree in the playroom.

Morgan and Mason both have their own candy canes with their names on them.

One of my favorite ornaments that we put on every year is the one that has the picture of Christian when he was young. It is too, too cute! Mason wanted to put his baby picture beside Daddy's. He said "That's a great idea, right?!"

We also put all of our baby ornaments on the tree...

Mine is a little Noah's Ark from the year I was born.

Christian's is a sweet angel sleeping.

Mason's is an engraved baby carriage.

And Morgan's is a little diamond slipper.

Next up was the big tree in the living room.

Mason and I put the lights on the lower and middle part of the tree, and Daddy put the lights on the upper part that we couldn't reach.

My sweet babies checking out the lit up tree.

The kids put the first ornaments on... kind of.

After playing with the ornaments for a while, Mason decided he could put them on the tree better with his Spider Man hat and gloves on... Duh. Why didn't mommy think of that?! ;)

Daddy topped the tree with the bow.

We added a few more final touches...

And, Wa-La!
We are now ready for presents to be piled under our gorgeous Christmas Tree!

Morgan has her pretty in pink tree in her room!

Mason has his tree up and lit!

And the playroom tree is all set as well!

I know, I know. Four trees is not enough... Maybe next year we'll add a fifth tree somewhere! :)

Every year has gotten more and more fun with having our little ones around. Last year Morgan just laid in her bouncy seat, but this year she'll be ripping into everything right alongside her brother. It's going to be fun and crazy watching these two throughout this season. We'll see how many ornaments and lights we have left on the bottom of the trees by the end of the month!
Over the last few weeks, Mason has started talking about God forgiving our sins and all the things that God has made. Actually, the other day he was going potty and he said "Mommy, did you know that God made us toilets so we could go potty in them? I never thought of that before. I just thought of that." And he is constantly saying "God took away my sins so I can be a good boy and not bad anymore." It just melts our heart to hear him talk about his faith and to watch his mind figure out where things are from and what their purposes are.
Mason's mind is soaking up every thing we teach him, and Morgan will be watching all that we do to celebrate the season as well. We are so excited to teach them both more about the true meaning of Christmas!
