The Big Day!

We were so excited waking up the morning of Morgan's actual birthday! Here is the sweet face that is popped up out of her crib every morning.

This is how the kids start out their morning these days. Drinking their milks and lounging in the crib. It's so funny seeing them just relaxing in there together.

Then it was breakfast time! Which, of course, included a "1" everything! :)

She loved her banana and toast with jelly.

She entertained herself with the balloons for quite some time while I got Mason ready for the day.

Birthday girl was all set for the big day!

That afternoon, we had a party in her class at school. She was so excited to see me mid-day!

It was snack time, so her whole class was eyeing the cupcakes that I brought.

Immediately they all dove straight in!

Morgan had this cupcake thing down since she had practice at her birthday party the day before.

But this time she just picked the whole thing up!

Her little messy face was so cute!

I got Mason out of class so he could join our party too. He was thrilled to be there!

I love their little dangling feet!

I think she got on a sugar high cause she started acting really silly!

We left school early that day and went to meet Daddy for dinner. At the end of dinner they gave her a birthday sundae... as if she needed more sweets and sugar!

She used her spoon at first to dip in.

She quickly gave up on the spoon and took handfuls instead. 

The poor thang was a little whiny later that night. I think she probably had a tummy ache! But she sure did enjoy her deserts though!

Morgan is learning and growing so much every day. She is standing more and more all the time, and taking a step here and there. Every time we make a big deal about it Mason says "Look mommy/daddy, I can stand (or walk) too!" So, we are learning how to balance giving the two kids attention and not just praising Morgan.

But it has been a great week of celebrating our sweet, growing girl! Such a great day to celebrate our perfect little baby doll!!
