This is the third summer that Christian has played on our church softball team. The first two summers, the kids and I hardly ever missed a game unless it was a late one. But this year, since it was in the 100's nearly all summer, we only made it to a handful of the games. It was just too hot to take Morgan out there with her being so young. But the games that we did go to, we loved cheering the guys on and watching the kids all play together!

Mason LOVES to watch Daddy play baseball! He was always so excited when he saw him on the field! The adoration just pours out from this kid for his Daddy!

The boys would always break out their balls and gloves too!

The kids would get up close and personal with watching their Daddy's from behind the dug out.
And, of course, they would venture into the dug out while the guys were playing outfield. Then get rushed out before they came in for batting.

The littler kiddos mostly hung out and watched the craziness from their strollers.

Both teams would shake hands, like the good team players that they are, and say a quick prayer to end every game.

It was fun to watch the troops after the game. There were kids and strollers all over!

To end each season, we always have a swim party to celebrate! All the kids love each other and get along so well!

Pizza, pool and friends... what else could make a summer's night better?!

Miss Morgan was wide eyed observing all that was going on around her.
The boys played some 500 and got a little rowdy with it!
My boys were so cute playing together!
It was another great year of Journey Softball! The guys moved up to a harder bracket this year and still did well with placing 3rd! But of course you guys are #1 in your family's eyes!!! :)
