Celebrating The Man!

For Father's Day this year, we kinda celebrated for 3 weekends in a row... but that's how Christian would prefer it! ;)

~

The weekend before, we went to see Christian's family in Tulsa.

Mason had a blast with two of his older cousins, Cross and Cosby. He adores them and wants to do things just like them. They had a great time being silly in the pool!

~

Morgan got to spend some time with her newest cousin, Chapman, that is 2 months older than she is.

He was so interested in her but she couldn't care less about him... Boys are yucky! Remember that Morgan!

~

Sweet cousins all worn out in their jammies.

~

Morgan got some lovin' from Dee-da and Gee-ma.

~

And Mason always has fun playing with them too!

...........................

The weekend after Father's Day, we got to spend the day at my parent's house.

~

Morgan loved Nana being sweet on her!

~

Mason cruised around the yard about one hundred times in the four wheeler, before being ready to cool off in the pool.

~

My three favorite guys playing together.

~

Where there are water guns, there are water fights!

~
Mason had fun sliding down the slide.. I tried it out, but there is obviously a weight limit and I did NOT fall into that category since I caved it in!

Daddy With His Babies.

..................................

On the actual day of Father's Day, we went to church, went out to lunch and then opened presents from the kids!

Silly kids climbing all over Daddy!

~

I took Mason to Walmart with me about a week before and told him that he could pick out ANYTHING he wanted to get Daddy from him and another gift from Sis... And, it went about as I expected! Everything that he picked out was Super Hero. But I did tell him that he could get ANYTHING, so I held to it!

~

He picked out a Spider Man card and some super hero stickers to decorate it with... And, insisted that Daddy decorate his arm, like his, with the stickers, too. (Mason picked out a CARS card from Morgan, but I was sneaky and replaced it with a cutesy card instead.)

~

Mason's card read, "You're my one and only Amazing Daddy! My every day, every way hero! Happy Daddy's Day!"

When Mason was signing his card, I helped him write in it. I kept asking him what he wanted to write. He had me/him write "You're my best friend."... "You're my favorite." ..."See you soon."... and "I love my Daddy.".... It was ADORABLE and PERFECT!

~

Mason was very helpful and excited about opening the presents!

~
Mason had spotted these Super Man pj pants and just HAD to get them for him!

~

Then he saw these Super Man/Man of Steel boxers and he wanted to get those for him from Sister... So, I let him! And Mason just had to try them on, too! :)

~

At the kid's daycare, both kids made Daddy gifts.

Morgan's was a coffee cup with 3 sides of decoration.

~

Side 1: Butterfly Kisses! Love, Morgan

~

Side 2: Her tiny hand print.

~

Side 3: Her beautiful face.

~

And Mason's gift was a #1 Dad Trophy with candy inside (that Mason ate most of before giving it to him)

~

Christian absolutely loved and adored all the gifts that he got from the kids! They were thoughtful and so sweet! Their teachers did a great job with the handmade gifts!

~
After opening all the goodies, we spent the rest of the day with our great friends, The Talley's and Waldenville's at the pool.

~
The water guns were in full effect!

~
And, there was dives, cannon balls, and belly busters going every direction!

~
We were lucky and got to have three fun, relaxing days with our family and friends. Christian and I are blessed to have amazing fathers that have led such great examples for both of us.

.................................................

This man right here is worth getting bragged about, not just on Father's Day, but every day. When I look at him, I see a man that works hard for what he believes in. I see a wonderful, devoted, supportive and caring husband. I see a man who loves our family and always puts us first in his life. I see a man that is a loving, energetic and gentle, yet stern father to his children. Today, and every day, I want you, Christian, to know how proud I am of the man that you are and the leader and provider that you are for our family. I am forever grateful for all that you are and all that you do to keep this family together.

"The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take."

-Psalm 37:23-24
