Up Up And Away... Come Celebrate Mason's 3rd Birthday!!

All week long Mason begged to go to his Superman Birthday Party... And FINALLY the special day was here!!!

~
We spent the morning getting all the decorations in order, straightening up the house, baking and putting last minute touches on the party favors.

The Superman Cape Party Favors!

Christian worked hard on cutting out the S's for the emblem and I sewed my little heart out to make all the capes. It took a ridiculous amount of time to make these capes but it was SO worth it when all the kiddos were flying all around in them!

The Kryptonite Punch was glowing!

~
Mason had fun watching me make his Superman cake and cupcakes that morning. I thought they turned out pretty darn good! I sure won't be going in to the bakery business any time soon, but I did have alot of fun making it!

~
We had some time to spare before the party, so we enjoyed some time just hanging out and playing.

Mason had a blast running around outside testing out the new capes.

~
He would run around as fast as he could, while looking back every once in a while to watch the cape fly behind him.

~
Poppy took Supermase flying around the house to prepare him for party time.

My two "SUPER" kids! :)

Super Mom, Super Daddy, Super Sis and Supermase were ready to party!

~
Right when the kids arrived, they were "caped" then ready to play!

~
Throughout the party we all got to be Superman for a moment! :)

It was a gorgeous day with the perfect temperature outside! So, it made for great weather conditions to play inside and outside where the TUMBLEVILLE BUS was!

The Tumbleville Bus is a school bus that has been converted to a play/gymnastic area.

~
The ball pit was a HUGE hit with all the kids!

~

There were barricades to climb over.

~
Rings to hang from.

~
Ropes to climb on.

~
Trampoline to jump on.

~
Tubes to crawl through.

~
Little toys to make noises with.

~
Monkey bars to hang from.

~
Mason and Ty were so funny playing with the little Spiderman action figures together.

~
I tried to keep up the Super Mom gig by entertaining inside and out. It was crazy like all parties are, but it was such a fun craze!

~
We could barely hold this birthday boy still for even just a quick pic!

~
Then it was time to head in for some birthday cake! Mason has absolutely LOVED hearing anyone sing Happy Birthday to him this year. They sung it to him all day at school and he constantly asked for it all week. It's been so funny!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MASON,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!

After everyone finished singing, Mason said "Do dat again!"...
He has loved the spotlight this year!

~
Of course Mason got first dibs on which cupcake he wanted.

Then the rest was passed out.

~
For some reason I didn't even think about the blue and red icing getting all over the place in the house, but other parents did. So, most everyone ate their cake outside. Which it felt wonderful outside so it worked out great!

~
After cake, Mason was dying to open his presents!

Mason had lots of help from his sweet friends opening his gifts.

~
Then Poppy, Daddy and Dee Da helped Mason open all the boxes and put things together.

~
Mason was pretty much MIA for the rest of the party and evening being enthrawled in his new toys.

Mason and Morgan both crashed at 7:15 that night! Morgan got very over stimulated by all the craziness of the party and Mason had played hard with no nap until his little body had enough.

It was such a fun party! Mason had A BLAST and so did we! Every year goes faster and faster. I can't believe we just celebrated our baby's third birthday! I must confess that I've gotten a little emotional about it a few times. We are loving the stage that he's in so much. I wish I could just bottle him up and keep him just like this! But I also know that there are so many more wonderful things to come as he grows up.

Thank you all so so so much for sharing Mason's 3rd birthday with us and adding to the special celebration! We are so blessed by all of you!
