Monster Jam 2011

Not too long ago we took Mason to see the Monster Jam!! We told him for weeks before about how he would get to see BIG Monster Trucks!

On the way there, he was SO excited! He made sure to bring his mini monster truck with him.

~

These two boys were so cute with how antsy they were to get there for the show!

~

Before it started, we got Mase a Monster Jam shirt and checkered flag.

~

This was the smallest size shirt they had but he totally didn't care. He was so proud of his new cool shirt and flag!

~

We got there a little early so we were able to check it all out before.

~

We bought earplugs for all four of us cause we heard it was extremely loud.

~

When it first started, Mason wasn't real sure what to think because of having the earplugs in his ears.

But it didn't take long before he didn't care about the earplugs and was waving his flag all around into the show!

~

He couldn't take his eyes off the trucks.

~

He would point out and yell with excitement every time something happened.

~

Even with Morgan having earplugs in, I still kept her ears covered. She hung out and looked around a bit before passing out on my chest.

~

While sis and I kicked back and watched the show, Mason and Christian were on the edge of their seats the entire time.

~

He took a little time out to chow on some popcorn though.

~

At one point I my earplugs were getting a little annoying and I figured they weren't helping that much anyway so I took them out.. And HOLY MOLY, the trucks were insanely loud! The earplugs really did help a ton! So, I quickly put them back in my ears.

~

Mason made sure to help Daddy keep his in his ears too during the intersession.

~

It really was a cool show to watch!! The trucks were so big and were gettin' some air like crazy!

~

The Grave Digger was a crowd favorite and kept winning the stunts.

~

Several of the trucks actually broke down after their stunts and had to be towed off the field.

~

The Spider Man truck was obviously a favorite of Mason's!

~

There were also motorcycles, four wheelers and BMX bikes that did stunts as well. They would fly through the air and most of the time they would completely let go of the ride all together while IN the air! I was nervous during these, I'm not gonna lie.

During the finale, there were all the bikes, motorcycles, four wheelers and trucks out there at the same time. They were flying over one another. It was crazy!

~

By the end of the show, Mason was so hyped up!

~

He was running around like a crazy man on the way out.

~

He waved his new flag proudly on the shoulder ride back to the car.

~
And when we got in the car, he was out like a light!

It was a good little family day. Us girls were just along for the ride. It's always so much fun to watch my boys so excited about things!
