We had a big day recently!!
Our baby boy turned THREE years old!!!
~
Of course when he woke up we started singing Happy Birthday first thing (and he wanted it sung at least 400 times throughout the next couple days) And then we had the traditional "3" cut out waffles!
~
He got to finally wear his special birthday shirt that I made him that he had been dying to wear.
I'M 3!
He loved the 3s that were on his sleeves.

He was focused trying to get his fingers to only show the 3.
He kept saying, "I not two no more! I three already!"
This is how this silly boy runs around the house most of the time... no exaggeration.
~
Then it was on to the Donut Shop!!
Mason got to pick out donuts to take to his class.
He was so excited that Mommy AND Daddy were both at school! It's usually only one of us dropping off or picking up.
~
We dropped sis off at her classroom, then headed to Mason's.
~
We took a half day at work and picked Mason up from daycare early. We told him we were going to but he still seemed shocked to see us so early!
~
Then it was on to Chuck E. Cheese's!!
This is the third year in a row that we've gone there on his actual birthday. It gets more and more fun every year! This year was so crazy because he was so independent running around and putting coins in all by himself. What a difference a year has made!
~
He has never been afraid and has always loved big, dressed up characters. So, he loved Chuck E. Cheese just as much this year as any.

He has loved the big train set every year but could actually work the controls this year.
~
He raced cars...
He raced cars...
Played in the big jungle gym...
Shot some hoops...
And before we left, Daddy turned into a Mechanical Cowboy!
~
Then we headed home for presents and cake!
The boys enjoyed licking the cake mix off the spatula while the cake was baking.
He got to open all his smaller gifts. Which I think he loved the wrapping paper and bag as much as the gifts!
~
He loved his new Super Hero shirts!
~
We had fun playing with his new toys!
~
The big "3" candle was lit...

It was such a fun filled day spent with just our family of four. We love spoiling our baby boy with much deserved goodies and fun! But the fun still wasn't over! The big birthday bash was still to come!.....
